Sunshine sweet and sprightly celebrations! Samson Productions captures all the magic of this luminous mehndi night with all its colorful glory! Maharani Sana arrives in style in her custom doli with a 1000-watt smile on her face! Who wouldn’t be stoked to make an entrance like that?! She rocks a lemon chiffon, powder pink, and sky blue outfit and has her hair styled by Dolled up by Lulu in a flower-adorned braid. Perfect!
From the bride, on details of the mehndi night: “Both my husband and I, being Bollywood addicts and loving the whole ‘Om Shanti Om’ vibe and era, we wanted a disco theme mehndi but with an electric-glow twist. At most of the mehndis I have been to bangles are laid out for the guests to wear, which I always loved! So to keep with the tradition we had bangles, but to add a little flare, we also had glow sticks for our guests to enjoy and wear. The stage also was electric-glowy in color, as well as the customized doli my father designed, and our decorator decorated for us. Our side (bride) entered the mehndi party adorning some glow gear and dancing to ‘It’s The Time to Disco.’ Once the doli set foot onto the dance floor, the floor lit up just like in the disco era. Our guests were all pleasantly surprised and excited. As the night continued and all the rasaams and dinners were winding down it was time for the entertainment to begin. While watching the dance and skit performances a falooda and kulfi station was set up to satisfy those with a sweet tooth (aka my husband and I), plus to energize the guests to dance the night away.”
This party were truly unforgettable and filled with lots of love, joy and of course electric bollywood details. It was the perfect way for these two to start off their new journey together.
