Our Beverly Hills Hotel Surprise Wedding of Stephanie Horbaczewski and Gordon Clemons has been featured on New York Times. New York Times describes it as “an ethereal starry night with stars projected on the ceiling and trees coming out of pillars,” but we say it’s much more than that. Samson MediaWorks partnered with GLDN Events and The Lighter Side to create a celestial mural, celebrating a wedding, projected on the ceiling of The Beverly Hills hotel.
The socialites of Beverly Hills are acutely insightful, but this display was unlike anything they’ve experienced before. To adequately cover the 880 square feet ceiling, 8 Pansonic 20,000-lumen projectors were employed. The 8 projectors discreetly hid in plain sight, draped in florals. The challenge was to create an immersive experience while working with the existing ceiling, notably the Venetian Chandelier. Samson’s team leveraged the chandelier, morphing and animating it into a tree. Constellations appeared around the chandelier tree taking viewers on a galactic journey for the reception.
