We have had the pleasure of working with Kismet Event Design on many weddings and special events. We thought it would be great to send them a little vendor love this week on our blog. Aatika of Kismet was happy to sit down with us and discuss how working together has been, her favorite event with us and also a bit about the company itself.
“Saadia Kibriya founded the company in 2008. She had the vision to fuse the South Asian culture with modern elegance and the desire to update the aesthetic the South Asian diaspora, fusing the Eastern culture with Western concepts. The reflection of every client and couple is Kismet Event Design’s inspiration. We invite all clients to our design Studio in Brea, CA where we have one on one meetings regarding their wants and desires; synthesizing that with our knowledge and aesthetic we create a customized environment for their affair.”
“Working with Aman of Samson Productions is always a pleasure. We love the way he uses the advances in technology to enhance the memories of a lifetime for our couples. If we had to pick one event it would definitely be Zara’s Birthday, where we converted the street to “Zara’s street” a spin-off of “Sesame Street”. We got to play around with our design and Aman captured everything so wonderfully we can still relive the moment.”
Aatika last advice to couples for their event is to “make sure you feel comfortable with all your vendors and have faith in their vision as well. All vendors feed off of your energy so stay happy and cheerful, believe me, we will make your dream wedding a reality.”
